This ugly light bulb took my heart. Those filthy sun rays haven’t you seen them yet? This dirty stripe light runs through my limbs. The broken filament still flickers to the beat. Mirrors crack as we share heart attack. What we have is fear. A flood of light into us deleting our eyes. Always when I’m on the trail I can touch the sky.
You shook my head to hide me from my pillow. You shook my head to take away the fear. We swam so far between these growing light tubes. We swam so far till our feed called us weird.
This imaginative release from Monty Cime blends Latin folk music and experimental noise for a sense of surreal nostalgia. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 30, 2023
